Spain´s music stars shine on Tenerife
On September 24th, the Spanish group “Preciados” will open the festival followed by “Efecto Mariposa”. Afterwards “Bebe”, one of the hippest bands in recent years, will rock the campus. The main act will be “Hombres G”, a group that has influenced the Spanish music scene for over 25 years. Drop in one night and see what Spain has to offer the music world, it’s a unique chance to see all these fantastic artists live on stage and to party with the Spanish till the small hours. Country fair in Pinolere - XXV Feria de Pinolere.
The Tinerfeños, as the island people are known, live in close-knit communities and love to keep their old traditions alive. One of the best ways to observe their way of life is to visit one of the country fairs. You don’t have to travel far – there are special buses laid on, find out more about the timing from the Tourist Information office in La Orotava or Puerto de la Cruz. No Spanish event is complete without plenty of food and local wine so it’s a good opportunity to try out some authentic Canarian cuisine. There will also be displays and demonstrations of local crafts, shops and painting and photography exhibitions.

More football, more tapas, more FU Café
After the thrilling World Cup 2010 everybody in Spain was excited about the new season. Finally it´s on again, and the FU Café is established as one of the major locations to get together and watch the games in the perfecrt atmosphere. Chilled drinks, crowned by a fine selection of internatinal beers, and exquisite snacks will be offered during the Spanish “La Liga” and Champions League games.
